The Institution’s and Innovation Council (IIC) at PERI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY envisions being a hub for creativity, innovation, and technological advancements, where students, faculty, and startups can collaborate to transform groundbreaking ideas into practical, sustainable solutions for society
Mission
The mission of the IIC is to foster a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship by providing an ecosystem that nurtures cutting-edge ideas, supports early-stage startups, and accelerates the commercialization of research and technological innovations. The IIC seeks to build a robust framework for students and researchers to develop their ideas, create products, and launch successful ventures.
Objectives
- To promote innovation and research: Encourage students and faculty to think creatively, engage in research and translate their innovations into marketable products and services.
- To provide incubation support: Offer a collaborative platform for early-stage startups, providing mentorship, funding and resources to accelerate business growth.
- To facilitate partnerships: Build partnerships with industry, government and other academic institutions to foster innovation and provide real-world solutions to global challenges.
- To build a culture of problem-solving: Empower students to identify problems and devise innovative solutions that address societal issues and improve quality of life
- To support commercialization of technology: Help translate research and innovative ideas into commercially viable products or services, providing the necessary guidance and infrastructure.
