The PERI Job Fair 2017 was conducted 18th MARCH 2017. More than 12,450 participants from all over India convened at the PERI campus to meet companies from diverse fields.
12,450 candidates competed for 2,000+ jobs openings and over 2000 students were offered a job on the spot with many more shortlisted for another round of interview. The fair was open to all 2015, 2016, and 2017 graduates. The candidates were from varied disciplines including engineering, management, arts, science & life sciences and diploma.
Entry as always was free for all candidates. The fair was inaugurated at 10.00 AM by our Chief Guest Mr. John Devadason, Plant Head - APOLLO TYRES and Guest of Honour Mr. S. Prasad, Director - TVS Group Companies. PERI IT’s Chairman, Mr. Saravanan Periasamy, PERI IT’s COO Mr. Sasikumar, PERI IT’s Principal, Mr Palson Kennedy and representatives of the attending companies, media and PERI’s staff and students.
Mode of interviews including group discussions, face-to-face and multi-panel interviews. The large, vivacious and enthusiastic crowd helped keep the event engaged and alive from the start to the end.
After scrutinizing and short listing of thousands of profiles by the attending companies, a few thousand candidates had been chosen for the next round of interviews.

The PERI Job Fair 2016 was conducted on 2nd & 3rd April 2016. More than 10,636 registered candidates from all over India convened at the PERI campus to meet companies from diverse fields.
10,636 candidates competed for 1,500+ jobs openings and over 1000 students were offered a job on the spot with many more shortlisted for another round of interview. The fair was open to all 2014, 2015, and 2016 graduates. The candidates were from varied disciplines including engineering, management, arts, science and life sciences.
Entry as always was free for all candidates. The fair was inaugurated at 9.30 AM by Mr. Pawan Kumar Bajaj, Executive Director, Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai. Invited guests included Tmt. Gajalakshmi, District collector, Kanchipuram, PERI IT’s Chairman, Mr. Saravanan Periasamy, PERI IT’s COO Mr. Sasikumar, PERI IT’s Principal, Mr Palson Kennedy and representatives of the attending companies, media and PERI’s staff and students.

About 12,000 eligible candidates competed for 2,000+ jobs openings and over 1000 students were offered a job on the spot with many more shortlisted for another round of interview. The fair was open to all 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 graduates. The candidates were from varied disciplines including engineering, management, arts, science and life sciences.

Invited guests included Mr. Sundar, CRM, Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai. PERI IT’s Chairman, Mr. Saravanan Periasamy. PERI IT’s Principal, Mrs. Kousalyadevi. Our COO, Mr. Sasikumar, representatives of the attending companies, media and PERI’s staff and students.

Participated companies in PERI JOB FAIR 2015
The PERI Job Fair 2014 was conducted on 22nd & 23rd March 2014. An astounding 40,000 candidates from all over India congregated at PERI campus, Mannivakkam, West Tambaram, Chennai to meet 37 companies from various fields including IT, BPO and engineering.
As candidates competed for 5,000 job openings, companies hired their top recruits. The fair was open to all 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 graduates. The candidates were from varied disciplines including engineering, management, arts, science and life sciences.
Entry was free for all with the doors opening at 8.00 AM. The fair was inaugurated at 9.30 am by Mr. Dhanabalan, Retired Chairman, TANSTIA-FNF in the presence of Mr. Hariram, Chief Regional Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, the Chairman, Mr. Saravanan Periasamy, the Principal, Dr. Sendil Velan, the COO, Mr. Sasikumar, representatives of the attending companies and PERI staff.
By around 10.30 AM, more than 25,000 candidates had arrived leading to a total of 30,000 candidates on the first day. Another 10,000 candidates came on the next day setting the final total to approximately 40,000 candidates. Candidates from Delhi, Bangalore, Ranchi and many parts of India arrived, in addition to candidates from all over Tamil Nadu. This has been one of the largest turnouts for a job fair in Chennai.
PERI had organised facilities for various stages of interview including group discussion, face-to-face and multi-panel interviews. In addition, free transport to the fair from Tambaram, Perungulathur & Vandalur was arranged. The extremely large crowd helped keep the fair buzzing and alive from start to end.
After rigorous shortlisting of thousands of profiles by the attending companies, a few thousand candidates had been shortlisted for the next round of interviews. The actual number of selected candidates was decided over the subsequent weeks.
