National Service Scheme
National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government initiative under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. It was launched in 1969, commemorating the birth centenary of Mahatma Gandhi, with the aim of fostering a sense of social responsibility, community service and national development among youth.
